DJ MINX
WOMEN ON WAX
DJ Minx has shared radio time with techno forefathers - Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, and Juan Atkins. Every Saturday night as a former Club Motor resident DJ, she did opening sets for Frankie Bones, Bassment Jaxx, Doc Martin and many other international DJs.

By establishing the Women On Wax Recordings label, Minx has pushed the boundaries and raised the bar on what dance music should be.

ADRIEL FANTASTIQUE!
(FRESHCORP)
If someone had to thread through the Detroit underground dance party scene, from its renegade beginnings in dusty warehouses and decomposed factories to coffeehouse chill to superclub swank (Packard Plant to Zoot's to Motor, all in the span of a few years in the 1990s), the guy doing the weaving would be Adriel Thornton.
Adriel Thornton is better known now as Adriel Fantastique, a perfect new monicker for new millennium dance culture, which has morphed into an anything goes, multiple-genre, cross-generational, racially-blended, polysexual lifestyle.

DELUXX FLUXX
With no signage and other means of advertisement, Deluxx Fluxx has carved a niche in the hearts of alternate music lovers. Only those in the know are aware of its existence. Some of their previous lineups include the likes of Nap Eyes, Chad Valley and Dead Meadow.

Every inch of the bar and venue has been designed by the artists and every detail has been addressed. There are custom video games that play Detroit themed games and feature advertisements from high profile Detroiters. The walls are covered in posters and art that was created by the duo, this includes every table, every booth, and every wall. In fact, even the bar taps and the lighted mirror behind the bar were created by the duo. The lighting and the sound are 100% custom, in fact everything in the bar/venue is custom.
